Below are financial resources that can support your educational experience at 澳门威尼斯人app下载大学 as a DACA/undocumented student.

援助和奖励

学生就业

DACA 学生 are eligible to work both on-campus and off-campus jobs. This is because the DACA program provides 学生 with a social security number, 使得在美国任何地方工作都是合法的.S. 

As you explore and prepare to apply for on-campus or off-campus employment opportunities, you can get support in navigating the application process (e.g. resumes, cover letters, interviews, etc) with the 职业和专业发展办公室.

Note that undocumented 学生 without DACA are unable to work on-campus jobs because they do not have the proper work authorization.

校园就业

• Please make note of the jobs that require federal work-study since, 作为一名DACA学生, 你没有资格参加这个项目. DACA 学生 should only apply to on-campus employment positions that do not require work study.

校外就业 

• There are many jobs available within a short walking distance of our 橙色的校园. Old Towne Orange is just two blocks away and has many businesses ranging from clothing stores to restaurants, 这是一个很好的开始.
• 如果你有车或者可以坐火车, you can expand your job search to include thousands of businesses and organizations across Orange County and even Los Angeles.
• Internships are also a great way to get work experience and earn academic credit at the same time. If you keep your eyes peeled, you may even discover opportunities for paid internships.

While Chapman does not provide in-house legal immigration services to its 学生, you can utilize the resources below to gain access to professional counsel or representation.

• DACA更新: If you have not heard back regarding your DACA renewal status, you can contact your legislative representative who may be able to assist.
